Multitalented, artistic and versatile Bill Bailey is an English standup comedian, musician, actor, television star, author as well as a radio presenter. Bill Bailey aka Mark Bailey was born in 13 January 1964 at Bath, Somerset.  He was the son of a medical practitioner and a hospital ward sister. Bailey studied at King Edward's School, situated at Bath. He was excellent in his academics. He was very much fond of music and did A levels in his music and passed with a grade.  He is an all-rounder.  After completion of school he moves to Westfield College of the University of London for an English degree but left after a year. He is a well-trained musician. He is fond of songs and lyrics.  He earned a Diploma from the London College of Music.  He is also an honorary member of the Society of Crematorium Organists. He is married to Kristen in 1998 and in 2003 this couple welcomed their son Dax. Currently, Bill lives with his wife and son in Hammersmith. He is a fan of Star Trek and supports Queens Park Rangers.

Bill is a stand-up comedian. He began to roam from one to other with comedians like Mark Lamarr.  He formed a double act in 1984 with Rubber Bishops. He has his own style. He mixes music and reconstructs jokes in his act to make it livelier in Bailey’s style.  In 1994, he performed Rock along with Sean Lock in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. On following year he did Bill Bailey's Cosmic Jam which was recorded in Bloomsbury Theatre in 1997. He won Time Out awarded in 1995 and in 1966 he was nominated for the Perrier Comedy Award. In 1999, on British Comedy Awards he won the Best Live Stand-Up award.  Bailey did his TC debut in Motormouth in late 1980s. In 1998, BBC gave his own TV show that was named as Is It Bill Bailey? This show was written and presented by Bailey himself. He was featured in different stand up shows such as The stand up Show, The Happening, Packing Them In, The Comedy Store etc.  He made the guest appearances in number of shows like, Room 101, Des O’Connor, Spaced, Have I Got News For You etc.  In 2003 he was seen in intellectual pana game QI. He was also appeared in Jonathan Creek, TV Heaven, Telly Hell, and Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. Etc.  In 2011 his show Comic's Choice, was aired and he himself was the host of the show. Bailey was a presenter also. He presented Wild Thing I Love You   on 15 October 2006 aired in Channel 4. He was seen in the second series of the E4 teenage "Dramedy" Skins.  He was appeared in Hustle which was a BBC presentation. He also appeared in Cosmic Shindig with the BBC Concert orchestra and Anne Dudley in 2007 and 2008. He loves to play metallica and his love song videos are uploaded in you tube.  He was more into television shows than movies.
