He is best known for his role of pinky in the 2000 comedy film, Next Friday and its sequel Friday After Next. His performance was seen in the Indie thriller Chain Letter, Menace II Society (1993). She stated Mr. Powell wanted to have oral sex with her and when she denied he forcefully raped her.  He has been sued by a woman using the pseudonym Kiyante Myers. She claims that the actor raped her in the hotel room in August 2011. Myers went to cops after the incident and investigation was conducted. But there was no evidence that Powell committed the crime so the case was closed.  After that the victim claimed Federal Court where she is asking to compensate her damage by charging $75K. Mr. Powell denies all the blame and plans to conduct all the legal remedies.
