Craig Sager was born on 1949 (his age is 66 years old) in Batavia, Illinois, United states of America. He is a 1973 batch of Northwestern University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in speech. As a student, he played both football and basketball. He is currently a sideline reporter for TV channels TNT and TBS. Prior to that, he also worked for CBs and CNN news channels. He is best known by his famous nicknames such as America's Sideline Reporter, Sager vision or Mr. Fancy Suit. He is a talented man who is fully committed to his work. As a result, he has been able to entertain all of his viewers with new and interesting news and facts.

His professional career started back in 1972, when he used to work for WXLTV in Sarasota Then in 1981; he joined CNN after he covered the network’s first playoffs of baseball. From there, he started to co-host the CNN Sports Tonight show and for that work, he was honored with a Cable Ace award in 1985. In between 1982 to 1985, he also worked as the anchor of College Football Scoreboard. Currently, he works as The NBA on TNT. Prior to that, he worked for CNN and TBS in covering some of the major events like Goodwill Games, Pan American Games, and 1990 FIFA World Cup. When he was hosting the Atlanta Hawks telecast for TBS Superstation, he reported on TNT's NFL pre-game, halftime and post-game in between the years 1990 and 1997. He has also reported for the network’s coverage for golf, tennis and amateur sports. Other of his works includes covering the Goodwill games live on four occasions; 1986, 1990, 1994 and 1998.

Besides his good work and dedication, Sager is also famous for his distinctive clothing style and is known by his nickname Mr. Fancy Suit. His code of dress includes velvet suits, colorful ties, Nehru jackets, and other bizarre articles of clothing. After the NBS all-star game in 2009, he had interviewed Kevin Garnett, who was a forward for Boston Celtic. Kevin was so annoyed with his outfits that he suggested him to burn his entire clothes, along with his shoes, after he went home.
