Hugh Lamont Douglas was born on August 23, 1971 (his age is 43 years old) in Mansfield, Ohio, United States of America. He was born to a divorcee mother as his father walked out when he was still in his mother’s womb. He grew up and studied at the local Mansfield Senior High School. After graduation, he went to study at Centre State University at Wilberforce, Ohio. He did his major in Elementary education and was also a very solid quarterback for his college team. As a sophomore, he led his team to the NAIA National championship after playing some 32 games in the first of three fantastic seasons. When his career began as a senior played, he was recognized and awarded with the Defensive Player of the Year title by The Pigskin Club, Washington D.C. Stats showed that he was the most prolific player in a defensive role during his time.

Douglas was a first-round draft decision of the Jets in the 1995 NFL Draft and was exchanged to the Eagles before the 1998 season for two draft decisions. Douglas went through the 2003 battle with the Jaguars before re-marking with Philadelphia in 2004. On November 5, 2005, Douglas was allegedly included in a fight with previous Eagles fellow team member Terrell Owens, who was amidst an exceptionally open war of words with the group. Owens was suspended by the group and was later deactivated when he declined to completely apologize for the quarrel, and for slanderous comments made about Eagles' quarterback Donovan Mcnabb.

Regarding his height, Hugh is over 6 feet tall. Now being a quarterback that is the height you’d expect of any player. He is also heavily build and has a very well-toned up body as a good sportsman should have. Currently he is working as a TV reporter for different channels. Although his broadcasting career started with Philadelphia’s WTXF-TV, he moved to its radio section covering the sports part. In 2011, ESPN declared that Hugh was to join their NFL studio and take part as the game’s analyst for programs like Sports Centre, NFL Live, and ESPN News etc. But due to his girlfriend’s recent claims of him trying to assault her, ESPN have fired him from the jobs offered. 

Douglas is a divorced man. He had been married and had a family with his ex-wife Ayanna Archie Douglas. The two were married on 6th of July, 1998 but in 2000, they got divorced. Not only he lost his wife and some 1.5 million dollars, but he also lost the custody of their child daughter Brianna Syann to his wife. He also has got children from his other affairs and is also frequently caught harassing and abusing his ex- partners. When asked about this, he unconvincingly said that it was a result of a rough sexual action between them.
