Jessica Rowe was born on the beautiful day of 22 June 1970. She is a television news presenter from Australia who has worked on all of the three Australian commercial television networks. Rowe studied at Sydney Girls High School in the city of Sydney, and finally completed a Communications degree at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst. She was a broadcaster with on-campus community radio station 2MCE-FM during her studies.

Rowe started her career at Channel Nine as a receptionist for nine network's Wide World of Sports when she was 22 years old. She made her first appearance on-air as a weather presenter on Prime Television Network in Canberra. She was later spotted and called by Network Ten executives, and soon was made a main news presenter for the channel. She presented Ten Sydney's main attraction “Ten News at Five” bulletin with co-anchor Ron Wilson for about almost 10 years, i.e. from 1996 until 2005 finished.

Rowe is married to another television journalist from Australia who is also a Nine News presenter and 60 Minutes program’s presenter. His name is Peter Overton. Rowe signed a contract valued at $500,000 to host the Nine Network's Today in the year 2005, which she shortly co-hosted with another talent Karl Stefanovic from late January until early December of 2006. Rowe had her debut on the show on 30 January 2006. She fell down six stairs at her Sydney home on 26 July 2006 and suffered from a broken wrist, but fortunately her unborn baby was not injured. She went back to work for Today Network the following Monday.

The Sydney Morning Herald paper reported on 23rd July that Rowe would return as a television news presenter for the popular station Seven News. She was also a contestant in the seventh season of the reality show named Dancing with the Stars. Rowe began a career as a panelist on a new late night show on Seven's high definition channel (7HD) called The NightCap since 2008 February. News Limited reported on 15 December 2008 that Rowe's contract with the Seven News Network had not been renewed thereafter. David Leckie, the head of the news network confirmed that her contract had ended and his company was unable of offering her a permanent position of a news presenter, although he stated that casual news presenting shifts may be available for her.

Rowe was appointed news presenter on Weekend sunrise later in 2010. That was a role she held for about three years. Rowe resigned from the Seven Network in September 2013. Rowe signed with Network Ten in September 2013 to join new morning program, Studio 10. She presented along with Ita Buttrose, Joe Hildebrand and Sarah Harris. Rowe appeared as the Narrator in Side By Side By Sondheim at the Theatre Royal in Sydney in April 2012. She was cast as part of a Gala Concert featuring Ruthie Henshall.

On 18 January 2007, Rowe gave birth to daughter Allegra Penelope Overton, which was four days ahead of the due date she had previously disclosed. She later confessed that she had suffered from postnatal depression during Allegra's early months in her womb, and she has worked from various ways in the hope of helping other mothers in the same situation. Her age has not passed much and she is going to continue her hard work till she gets old and earn a lot. Her hairstyle is popular and the haircut and beautiful hair she maintains gives her a young look. Her tall height and good presentation made her popular which can be figured out from her wiki and facebook profile. The photography used in her programs is awesome too. She has provided for her children and by sunrise she becomes available in the TV station. She also authored a book and became more popular.
