Popularly known as “The Golden Boy”, Oscar De La Hoya is an Ex-American Professional boxer was born in Montebello, Los Angeles, California on February 4, 1973. Within short span of time, he is well known for his victory in six different weight classes boxing competition which was his popular televised fights that brought lots of entertaining and thrilling winning moments. The news of his mother having cancer didn’t make the victory deserving to him and after she died she had hoped that her son would one day win Olympic gold. In the year 1998, he had faced certain issues regarding the case accused in a lawsuit of rape, and the plaintiff raised against him as culprit who raped woman. But later on, the court settled the case in 2001. De La Hoya married Millie Corretjer on October 5, 2001 and his wife gave birth to three children altogether. He already had other three kids from previous relationship; they are Jacob, Devon and Atiana. After being engaged with Millie Corretjer since then there are no issues regarding divorce between the couple. De La Hoya addresses about his retirement from Boxing Career on March 24, 2012 and stated to have normal life by ending career path.
