Richard Stephens Wilkins popularly known as Richard Wilkins is an Australian television presenter and actor. He was born on 19 June 1954.

Currently, he is working as Entertainment Editor at Today and Nine Network. Wilkins is one of the most dedicated and prestigious presenters of Australia. His nick name is Dickie.

Wilkins was born in Auckland, New Zealand and now he has already reached 6o years old in his age. Regarding his educational background, Wilkins graduated from Teacher’s College majoring in English and Music.

After completing his graduation in music, he started his career as a pop singer, but he didn't get much success and fame from his singing career.

He also had a band named Wilde and Reckless and even released some singles and a six Track EP. Wilkins also had a tour with Grace Jones.

After that, he left his singing career and stepped out to work as a Promotions and Marketing Manager for Sydney radio stations 2Day FM and 2UW and later moved to television.

Wilkins was also the live reporter of the death of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, and he erroneously reported the death of actor Jeff Goldblum, but later Wilkins himself verified it as a hoax.

In 1992, Wilkins hosted a game show called Keynotes and later in 1999 started hosting Australian version of Entertainment Tonight. Entertainment Tonight was hosted by Wilkins for almost ten years.

Wilkins is also popular among people for hosting Sydney New Year's Eve telecast (1995–1998); (2000–2006). He has also covered The Academy Awards, Oscars and Golden Globes red carpets and other special events.

Wilkins has already been on television for almost three decades and is one of inspiring TV presenter. From 2012, he started to work at the Smooth FM.

He has also released his autobiography named Black Ties, Red Carpets, Green Rooms in 2011 and the book was also known to be the best seller reaching no. 1 status.

Wilkins has a macho body built with a good manly height which can woo any women. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and has perfect body measurements.

Wilkins is rumored to having an affair with several ladies and also has several marriages and wives of course. He was rumored to be in relationships with Michelle Burke, Tottie Goldsmith, Rebecca Naso, Collette Dinnigan, Brooke Shields, etc. but didn’t get married to all of them.

These relationships, divorce, and affair led to the topic of the rumor but, the good side is that this topic proves that he is not a gay as well. He also has a daughter named Estella Sophia Dinnigan with his partner Collette, but she was never his wife. Collette is an Australian fashion designer.

He also has a son named Adam Wilkins from his wife Lynette and has altogether five children. Wilkins had his first marriage at the very young age and became the father of son Adam at the age of 18.

His wife Lynette was only 16 at the time she gave birth to Adam. He was so happy to be the father at that time, but unfortunately, Adam had a Down syndrome.

Wilkins also had an affair with former Miss Australia Caroline Lumley, and former game show hostess Ann- Maree Cooksley.
