Born on 28th November, 1964, Sean Mary Williams is currently a Journalist and current affairs presenter. She is also the regularly presenter of News at Six and occasional presenter of News at One and News at Ten. She was born in Paddington, London, to Welsh parents, and raised in Eastbourne, East Sussex. She was graduated with BA in English and History from oxford Brookes University and later studied Critical journalistic writing at the University of Rhode Island. Recently in 2014, she started studying her Master’s degree in Psychology about the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder on journalists and reporters at the University of Westminster. Williams was also a recreational runner. Her mother was from Llanelli and father was from Swansea.

Williams also worked as a presenter of BBC Breakfast alongside bill turnbull. Before stepping in television, Williams worked at BBC local radio in Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester. Later, she became the producer on The World at One and PM programs. Her first job at television was as an output editor at the BBC News 24 and worked there for about 2 years. After that, she worked at Six O'clock news as their special correspondent. She was also regularly presenting the national news bulletins on BBC One weekends. In 2004, she reported from the Srilanka and Thailand on the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and from the Pakistan on the Kashmir earthquake.

Williams was appointed as the relief presenter for all the main BBC One News Bulletins. In May 2005, she was confirmed to be the main female presenter of BBC breakfast and also joined BBC Radio 4 to co-present Saturday live for a while.

Williams also had many other roles. She was the president of TRIC (Television and Radio Industries Club) in the year 2008 to 2009. In July 2012, William also became the Honorary Fellow of the University of Cardiff. She also supported many charities during her year in office.

The couples were again blessed with a daughter in March 2009. William had to spend several days at the hospital after suffering from hypernatremia during the 2001 New York Marathon.
