Until 2005, she was the presenter of this bulletin. She was named as the main presenter of the BBC News at one in March 2006 by replacing Anna Ford on Monday-Thursdays.

After returning from the maternity leave, she took the position in June 2006. She is also seen representing relief shifts on the rolling news channel BBC news channel. She was also seen in coverage of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and Our Monarchy – the Next 50 Years. Along with this, she was also appeared on the BBC fashion show What Not to Wear.

In 2006, she was appeared in the television coverage of the Children’s Party at the Palace which is an event to represent Queen’s 80th birthday. She also presented some of the fakes news updates for the programme with Huw Edwards. Due to which, there were many complaints from the viewers.

On 31 January 2008, Raworth announced that she would be leaving the program One O’clock in News till the summer.  After the birth of her third child, she returned back on her work on 25 august 2008. On October 5 2008, she ran a program named Great North Run.

In early 2009, she was requited as the main relief presenter on the BBC News at Six and regular relief presenter at news at ten. In May 2009, she presented Crime watch Road show on BBC1 along with Crime watch Road show on BBC1 with reporter Justin Rowlatt on the BBC. She was also appeared in the film A Good Day to Die Hard in 2013. She was also awarded by City University of London as Doctor of Arts Honoris Causa on July 16, 2013.
