Zachary Andrew Knighton was born on the 25th of December, 1978 (his age is 36 years old) in Alexandria, Virginia, USA. He was born to parents Billy (an artist) and mother Brenda (a sales executive). Born as the second of three children, Zach is a graduate of Frank W Cox High School which was near his locality. After that, he joined the Governor’s School of Arts, where he started to learn acting by taking classes and performing rehearsals.  To pursue his career in acting, he then joined the Virginia Commonwealth University where he also did a lot of surfing on the beach.

His first debut on the big screen was in the remake of a thriller movie named The Hitcher alongside Sophia Bush. He also played the role of Laz Lackerson in the TV series named Life on a Stick. His other role at the same time was Gary in another series Related. He started in Phillipe Grandrieux’s erotic film A New Life which was released in 2002. He portrayed the character of Varley Bryce, which was re-written by the director for him. Between the years 2011 and 2013, Zach did several projects. These included his role of Dave Rose in ABC’s comedy Happy Endings costarring with Damon Wayans, Eliza Couple, and Casey Wilson. Although the show was moderate, some parts of it were highly censorable and so it was canceled by ABC itself, with only releasing up to its third season in the May of 2013.
